Hey Guys! I’m looking forward to Friday’s show. This will be the sixth time seeing you at the Suffolk. There’s one request I’d like to make: this month marks my 60th year of going to concerts, which started on May 7, 1966, when I saw The Animals at the Palace Ballroom in Old Orchard Beach, Maine.
Over the years, I’ve seen the Stones in 1969, 1972 and 1975 at Boston Garden, 1975 at Madison Square Garden and 2006 at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. I’ve been a Stones fan since I first heard “Tell Me”, on AM radio in 1964.
When I see Bernie and Keith standing together at the mic, it’s like I’m back in 1972. It’s the perfect image of the real Mick and Keith at their peak!
So, my request for this week’s show is for you to do my all-time favorite Stones song “Midnight Rambler”. It hasn’t been done at the Suffolk since 2019, so I’m hoping that the time will be right on Friday!
We’ll be ready for another great show!
